And then this little baby is now under my supervision thanks to my colleague Tim who brought her all the way from Hawaii to watch over me whilst I work.
We met up with Steve and Lorna, and some of Steve's other colleagues like Kevin and Demery swung by too. With only two chairs, Lorna and I were lucky enough to be seated although I let Rob have my chair to eat and he gave it me back when my food arrived. Efficiency at its best! Now I'm no beer drinker although I've expanded my taste repertoire a little and can enjoy a little beer usually the very weak, light stuff that seasoned beer drinkers scoff at. Lucky for me there were a few lighter style lagers that I could enjoy so I join in and swing my tankard to the oompah band like the rest of the gang.
Today is a sunny Sunday. Weather has been up and down. It keeps promising to warm up but then never quite manages it.
Steve and I headed to South Melbourne market this morning and enjoyed a stroll around the stalls as well as a seafood lunch al fresco at the old favourite - Claypots.
The rest of the day has been very quiet with household chores, preparing for imminent holidays and making tonight's dinner.
