Chocolate Buddha is like a Wagamama's with sushi and cocktails and with less of the chain feel. The Kyoto Protocol cocktail I had was a lovely strawberry and lime based affair and Steve was happy enough with the beer. We had some sushi and sashimi which was pretty fresh but nothing hugely unusual; tuna, salmon and kingfish. The beef yakitori was better than average as the beef was very tender and not over BBQ'd. Steve had some fried noodles which were tasty and not greasy which is a good thing. I had chilli beef ramen which was large in size pretty tasty. Price wise it came to just shy of £60 which I guess is reasonable given we had 1 cocktail, 1 glass of wine and 2 beers between us. It's one of those places where if you go to town on cocktails and sushi and sashimi the bill can escalate but if you stick to noodles and rice dishes it's pretty good value for money.
The ambience and setting were nice so I can see us going again for a quick dinner or lunch
