Steve had the salami plate which was very generous. The wooden plate was groaning with salami and prosciutto and it came with some toasted ciabatta. Good produce.
The lamb was tasty and I liked the accompanying giant tabbouleh pearls which were like pasta. I think I'd have liked it if the tomatoes were cooked down a little. The steak was done really well and apparently the mushrooms tasted good but I don't know because by the time I got to eat my half there were none left! I guess that's proof that it's good!
It's a shame The Deck is somewhat tucked away as it deserves more clientele. Produce is good, cooking technique is good and service is strong. It made for an enjoyable Friday night.
